As a mom, you are always so busy and sometimes you simply just don’t have the time to stop and get those in the moment pictures with your children. It can hit you hard when you notice pictures of everyone else holding your baby except you… I went through this phase right after I had Mia.
So. of course, when Tiffany Harston Photography reached out to me for a Mommy and Me session with Mia I had to say yes. I was so excited…. like YES! Please, what a great idea!
My favorite part about the pictures is they’re simply in the moment shots, just me interacting with Mia trying to make her giggle and smile. These are the shots I had been wanting, what great pictures I have now to cherish…
These pictures came out amazing, better than I hoped they would. If you’re in the Houston area you should reach out to her for your family pictures. She made us feel so comfortable and worked so well with Mia. Which, let me tell you, was a little challenging with it being 40 degrees outside and Mia not wanting to smile. We would sing her songs and try and get her to dance, she just wasn’t having it. But, once we pulled the book out she was loving it!
After the session, we had a second meet up, where we discussed which pictures we liked and wanted to keep. She came to my house and let me tell you, she the coolest apps ever! LOL! She has a neat program that will show you what images will look on your wall and you can adjust the sizes to get the perfect fit the first time! I was amazed! I had no idea programs like this existed. See examples below of us trying different images on my dining room wall.
